MoodScape Shop didn't start as a business plan; it started as a lifeline. When I lost my mother, Vijaya Kumari, to cancer earlier this year, I found myself navigating grief in ways I never expected. What emerged from that difficult journey became the foundation for everything MoodScape represents today.
When Words Weren’t Enough
During those early months of loss, speaking about my emotions felt impossible. Writing didn’t help. But designing did.
Digital design became my emotional lifeline—a visual language that let me express grief, anger, love, frustration, and gratitude without needing to explain anything to anyone. Each illustration became a snapshot of an emotion I was processing. Creating art taught me something I had never allowed myself to believe:
Emotions deserve to be seen. They deserve space. They deserve expression.

Rediscovering Ancient Wisdom
At the same time, my grief pulled me back to my mother’s worldview—rooted in simple, natural approaches to wellness.
She believed in traditional remedies, Ayurvedic practices, and the idea that nature already provides most of what we need to restore ourselves. Her self-care wasn’t complicated; it was intentional and passed down through generations.
As I rebuilt myself, I found comfort returning to those natural foundations. This became the second pillar of MoodScape:
